Would we trade it? Nope Never. We are having so much fun and still its hard to believe we are payed to do something that we would do withouth pay.So give me a break I know I need to update Praise Reports/Testimonies/Cool Stuff Our first Service had 48 people now the truth to it is that 40% were Gringos (North Americans) well we have finnaly filtered through and we are running at 5 North Americans running sound, playing instruments and myself and the rest are Hispanics. Last Sunday we had over 50 people, Hispanic People! Yeah! We are so excited to see the growth and we now God has so much more to come. 2007 is going to be amazing, cause 2006 has been great and I know the best is to come. We had our first Baptism, a 80+year old Woman from Mexico. She has since returned to Mexico into the hands of her very Catholic and extremly angry children. Until Gods if willing does a mirical in her home, she will continue to live in persecution for her faith, and decesion to be baptised.
We also had our first Baby Dedication of a beautiful Baby boy named Nehamias. His parent recived the Lord in our first few weeks here in Salem and now are a big part of the ministry, We feel very blessed to have their growing family of 6. We are seeing so much Spiritual Growth among our group, the great majority of members are New baby Christians, just learning to know Christ, which may I say can be intresting at times, but a blessing. We are having wonderful and blessed times during worship and at the altar. Prayer Requests We have 4 known women who are wives of men in prison. One who happens to be in Pendleton (the town we moved from). These women are so amazing and strong. But they need alot of prayer, especially getting closer to Christmas, there are going to be many little boys and girls without their daddys this year. We know these women personally and so our hearts break and reach out to them. Feeding Ministry - that God continues to provide for the purchase of Food. That we may be able to continue to reach people with the message that Jesus provides for our eternal and internal needs. On a personal note... Isaias is still batteling with his ezema. He has a horrible flare up right now and looks miserable but still has a smile on his face. We are believing and praying for a healing. Strength and wisdom to do all the many things God has given us to do here in Salem. TO BE CONTINUED......
